As part of AMCN activities in Morocco, the AMCN medical and surgical
team initiated a pilot project by providing a week long hands
on training to medical professionals in the Tiznit and Tafrout rural
areas during the month of May in the areas of:
1. Maternal and child health
2. Emergency medicine
3. Gerontology
These
areas of training needs have been identified by the ministry of health
and the office of Tiznit governor. This training aimed at offering
long term solutions by comparison to medical caravans which usually
provide short term solutions but complementary still.
AMCN
continues to be proud of its members who volunteer their time and effort
in the betterment of the Moroccan community well being in Morocco.
